Caeleb Remel Dressel is an American freestyle and butterfly swimmer who specializes in sprint events. He currently represents Cali Condors, part of the International Swimming Federation. He won seven gold medals at the 2017 World Aquatic Championships in Budapest and eight record medals, including six, at the 2019 Aquatic World Championship in Gwangju. Dressel is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and currently holds the world record in the 100-meter butterfly, 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter individual mix. Dressel holds the American record in 50 meters and 100 meters free and 50 meters and 100 meters butterfly. He also holds records at 50 yards and 100 free yards, 100 butterfly yards and 200 individual yards, and was previously a 100-yard swimming frog.
