Carl Frampton, is a former professional boxer from Northern Ireland who competed from 2009 to April 2021. He is a former two-weight world champion, having held the WBA and IBF Super Bantamweight belts. from 2014 to 2016 and the Featherweight WBA belt from 2016 to 2017. He also holds the temporary Featherweight WBO belt in 2018. In the region, he held Europe and the Commonwealth of super bantamweight titles between 2011 and 2014. By winning the title of fur world champion in 2016, Frampton became became the first boxer from Northern Ireland to hold the world title in two weight classes. This earned him the Warrior of the Year award from The Ring magazine, the American Boxing Writers Association and ESPN. In December 2019, Frampton is ranked by BoxRec 4th best performing feather ranking in the world and the fifth best performing feather rank by The Ring.
