Actor and former pro football player best remembered for his role as Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise. He also appeared in the movie Predator, Little Nicky, and Happy Gilmore, among others.

Carl Weathers is an American actor and former professional football player. Some of his most famous roles are Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky movies, George Dillon in Predator, Jackson in Action Jackson, Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore and in Little Nicky, Detective Adam Beaudreaux in the Street TV series. Justice, a fictional version of the Arrested Development comedy series, a recurring role of Greef Karga in the Star Wars The Mandalorian series and Combat Carl in the Toy Story series. As a football player, Weathers played from 1970 to 1971 for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football Federation and from 1971 to 1973 for British Columbia.
