Carson James Wentz is an American midfielder with the Indianapolis Colts football team of the National Football Federation. He plays college football at North Dakota State University, where he has won five NCAA FCS national championships. He was picked by the Philadelphia Eagles with the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the highest ever pick for an FCS player. During his first year with Eagles, Wentz set a number of rookie records in the NFL and team, including most of the passing and successful attempts of a rookie. In 2017, Wentz helped the Eagles hit an 11-2 record before getting injured. He was second in the NFL in terms of passes to touch 33, as well as being loved to win the league's MVP title, but missed out on the last three games of the season with a season-end ACL injury left knee. Led by replacement Nick Foles, the Eagles will win the Super Bowl LII over the New England Patriots, their first Super Bowl win in franchise history.
