Carter Loard Bays is an American presenter, writer and television producer. He is best known as the co-creator, writer and executive producer of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Her show has been nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards, including Best Original Song for "Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit". Bays also co-founded The Solids, performing the theme song How I Met Your Mother, "Hey Beautiful".
