Carter Hart is a professional Canadian ice hockey goalkeeper for the Philadelphia Flyers team of the National Hockey League. Born and raised in Sherwood Park, Alta., Hart started training with a sports psychologist at the age of 10 and played light hockey in the Alberta AAA State Hockey League. Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League selected Hart in the eighth round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. He made his debut against Silvertips in 2014 at the age of 16 and was the team's starting scorer at the end of the season. During his time with Silvertips, Hart won the Del Wilson Trophy three times, was the CHL's top goaltender twice and received the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy. The Flyers introduced Hart in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft; He was the top scorer that year.
