Carol Christine Hilaria Pounder is a Guyan-American actress. She has appeared in many plays, movies, TV shows and mini dramas. Pounder plays Dr. Angela Hicks in the ER medical television series and Detective Claudette Wyms in FX's crime TV series The Shield. Since 2014, she played the forensic scientist Dr. Loretta Wade in the crime drama NCIS: New Orleans. Pounder was also the voice of Amanda Waller on the Justice League Unlimited animated show. In the film, she appeared in All That Jazz, Go Tell It on the Mountain, Prizzi's Honor, Postcards from the Edge, Psycho IV: The Beginning, Benny & Joon, Demon Knight, Face / Off, End of Days, Orphan, Avatar, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
