Cédric Ricardo Alves Soares CvIH ComM, simply called Cédric, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Premier League club Arsenal and the Portuguese national team. Cédric's career started with Sporting CP, went on to appear in 93 appearances over four seasons in the Primeira Liga and scored 2 goals. He signed for Southampton in 2015. After 72 caps from all youth levels, Cédric made his Portuguese debut in 2014. He made his national appearances at the 2018 World Cup and Euro 2016, the league champions later.
