Charles William Ingram is a former British Army major who made famous appearances on a game show Who Wanted To Be A Millionaire? In the episodes filmed in September 2001, Ingram correctly answered fifteen questions to win the series' maximum prize of £ 1million, but was denied any winnings due to suspicion of fraud. After a lengthy trial at Southwark Crown Court, Ingram was found guilty of cheating the act of implementing valuable confidentiality. He was subsequently convicted of a crime unrelated to insurance fraud in 2003, and ordered by the Military Commission to resign from his post as major.
