Charles Anthony Tillman, known as Peanut, is a former American football full-back who is currently an agent of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. He played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the NFL Draft in 2003. Tillman played 12 years for the Bears, helped them reach the Super Bowl XLI, and also played a year with Carolina. Panthers, take the Super Bowl 50 with the team, even though he suffered a reserve injury earlier in the season. He was selected to two Pro Bowl tournaments and was Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2013. He is known for his ability to cover and catch the ball by stripping or "hitting" the ball from a player, with a well-timed punch commonly referred to as "Peanut Punch". After retiring from the NFL, Tillman joined the FBI in 2018 .
