Midfielder who made his senior career debut in 2003 for the Rangers F.C.; joined Scotland's national team in 2007; signed with Stoke City in 2012 after spending a year with Liverpool.

Charles Graham Adam is a Scottish professional footballer who plays in midfield and captain for club Dundee of the Scottish Championship. Adam started his senior career with Rangers. He has spent most of his career on loan at Ross County and St Mirren. On loan at St Mirren during the 2005–06 season, Adam was part of the team that won both the Scotland Challenge Cup and the Premier League, playing in more than 30 matches for the Saints. When he returned to Rangers at the end of the 2006 season, he became a regular player under coaches Paul Le Guen and Walter Smith. Adam was also part of the Rangers squad that reached the 2008 UEFA Cup final. After falling out of favor with Rangers in 2008-09, Adam was loaned to the Blackpool club in the English league. The loan was made permanent at the start of the 2009–10 season, and Adam became an integral part of the Blackpool squad, leading the team to a play-off victory over Cardiff City, helping them advance to the Premier League.
