Chelo García-Cortés before fame

She earned a journalism degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona's Faculty of Information Sciences. She began working for La Voz del Mino, a radio station in Ourense, in 1973. In 1975, she started working at Radio Miramar as a celebrity gossip reporter and began publishing pieces in Hola! Magazine. In 1997, she made her television debut on the TV3 network.
