Known best for his work with a South Korean band called FT Island, this rock guitarist and keyboard player also had a career as an actor and reality television star, appearing in the 2011 movie You're My Pet and in the second season of Romantic & Idol.

Choi Jong-hoon is a former Korean musician and actor. He was the leader, guitarist and keyboardist of the rock band FT Island from his 2007 debut until his retirement from the entertainment industry in 2019. On March 14, 2019, Choi withdrew from the entertainment industry. The scene allegedly involved in bribery and illegal sharing of sexual videos and images, part of Jung Joon-young's KakaoTalk chat room, was first exposed in the Burning Sun scandal. On November 29, 2019, Choi was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years in prison.
