Christopher John Bryant is a Welsh politician and former priest, serving as Deputy Head of the House of Representatives from 2008 to 2009 and Under the Foreign Ministers of Europe and Asia from 2009 to 2010. He then served in the shadow cabinet as secretary for dark culture and shadow leader of the House of Representatives from 2015 to 2016. As a member of the Labor Party, he was a member of the National Assembly. Rhondda Association since 2001. Born in Cardiff, Bryant was educated privately. at Cheltenham College before studying English at Mansfield College, Oxford. After majoring in theology, he worked as a representative of the Church of England as well as for roles at the BBC and the Common Purpose.
