Sir Christopher Andrew Hoy, MBE is an English racer and former Scottish cyclist who has represented UK at the Olympics and World Championships and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games. Hoy has won eleven world championships and six times the Olympic championship. With a total of seven Olympic medals, six gold and one silver, Hoy is the second most decorated cyclist at the Olympics of all time. With three gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics, Hoy became Scotland's most successful Olympic athlete, the first British athlete to win three gold medals in an Olympics since Henry Taylor in 1908 and is the most successful Olympic cyclist of all time. After winning two more gold medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Hoy has won more Olympic gold medals than any other British athlete with Jason Kenny, and the total more than any other. any other cyclist, except Sir Bradley Wiggins.
