Christopher John Tarrant is an English radio and television presenter. He presented ITV Tiswas' children's television program from 1974 to 1981 and Who wanted to be a millionaire? from 1998 to 2014. He was a host of Capital Radio from 1984 to 2004. Tarrant's career began in 1964, when he was hired by the disbanded TV network ATV. He performed ATV Today, a news show serving the Midlands region of England, until 1982. Tarrant emerged after becoming a co-host of Tiswas, a children's television show aired in the morning. Saturday from 1974 to 1981. In January 1982, starring Bob Carolgees, John Gorman, Randolph Sutherland and Lenny Henry, Tarrant started a late night show, OTT, which was considered a version of Tiswas' "adult", but she is not liked. Tarrant was a host of Capital Radio from 1984 to 2004, presenting the Capital Breakfast program early in the morning.
