Mayce Edward Christopher Webber III is an American former professional basketball player. He's a five-time NBA All-Star, a five-time All-NBA team member, an NBA Rookie of the Year, and an NBA number one rookie for the Golden State Warriors. He went on to play for teams like Washington Bullets, Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons. As a college athlete, he was an All-American first team and led the Michigan Wolverines freshman class in 1991, known as the Fab Five, winning the NCAA Division I basketball championship in 1992. and 1993 as a rookie and sophomore. However, Webber was indicted by a federal grand jury and stripped of his title as a Global American by the NCAA for his direct involvement in the Ed Martin scandal. He is also the former Best National High School Basketball Player of the year, who led his Detroit National Festival from high school to three Michigan State High School basketball championships.
