Christian Sáinz Valdés Castro, known by his stage name Cristian Castro or Cristian, is a Mexican pop singer. He is the son of two actors Veronica Castro and Manuel "El Loco" Valdés, and the grandson of actors Ramón Valdés and Germán "Tin-Tan" Valdés. In a family of artists, he is also a nephew of the same relationship with the mother of José Alberto "El Güero" Castro, producer of the famous soap opera on Televisa. Known for his low-pitched male voice, Castro is considered one of the most skilled Hispanic pop singers in the past three decades. Juan Gabriel describes Castro as "the man who sings the most in Mexico".
