Landon is the son of the late actor Michael Landon. Landon wrote and directed the satirical thriller Burning Palms. He has written and directed the paranormal thriller Activity: The Marked Ones, directed and co-wrote the horror comedy Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and directed the murderous film Happy Death Day.
