Daniel "Colt" McCoy is an American football midfielder for the Arizona National Football Federation Cardinals. He was picked up by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft, after playing college rugby for the University of Texas. He is also a member of the San Francisco 49ers, the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants, mainly playing the role of a backup midfielder. McCoy was the Texas Longhorns starting midfielder from 2006 to 2009 and won the 2008 Walter Camp Award, was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2008 and a 2009 Heisman finalist McCoy ranked second after Kellen Moore Bang Boise's in the game won by the NCAA Division I midfielder. He has won several awards for his senior season, including Attacker of the Year.
