Corinne Jacqueline Bailey Rae is an English singer and songwriter. She is known for her 2006 single "Put Your Records On". Bailey Rae was named the number one most anticipated revolutionary action of 2006 in the BBC's annual survey of music critics, Sound of 2006. She released her debut album Corinne Bailey Rae in February. 2006 and became the fourth British actress in history to have her debut album at number one. In 2007, Bailey Rae was nominated for three Grammy Awards and three Brit Awards, and won two MOBOs. In 2008, she won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Bailey Rae released their second album, The Sea, on January 26, 2010, after a nearly three-year hiatus. It is produced by Steve Brown and Steve Chrisanthou. She was nominated for the 2010 Mercury Award for Album of the Year. In 2012, she won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance for "Is This Love".
