Costel Fane Pantilimon is a Romanian professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Denizlispor at Süper Lig and the Romanian national team. Pantilimon started their career at Politehnica Timișoara, becoming their first choice goalkeeper. In 2011, he signed to Manchester City, initially on loan, as a reserve for Joe Hart. Pantilimon was Man City's first choice in the 2013-14 League Cup, which they won. He went on to play in the Premier League with Sunderland, spending a season and a half there before moving to Watford in 2016.
