Dale Arnold Jarrett is a former American racing driver and currently a commentator for NBC. He is known to have won the Daytona 500 and NASCAR Winston Cup Series three times in 1999. He is the son of two-time national champion Ned Jarrett, brother of Glenn Jarrett, father of former driver Jason Jarrett and cousin of Todd Jarrett. In 2007, Jarrett joined the ESPN / ABC broadcasting team as the announcer in selected National races. In 2008, after quitting driving after the Food City 500 in 2008, he permanently joined ESPN as Senior Race Analyst replacing Rusty Wallace. In 2015, Jarrett became a member of the NBC sports broadcasting team for NASCAR events. He was introduced into the NASCAR Hall of Fame category in 2014.
