Danielle Jane Harmer is an English actress, television personality, acting coach and former singer. She is known for her leading role as Tracy Beaker in the CBBC TV series The Story of Tracy Beaker, Tracy Beaker Returns, she won BAFTA in 2010, The Tracy Beaker Survival Files and My Mum Tracy Beaker. Harmer starred in Molly Louise Venables in the BBC comedy series One After You've Gone, and went on to star in the CBBC sitcom Dani's House and the spinoff series Dani's Castle. In 2008, Harmer joined the music industry and signed a £ 3 million record deal with Universal Group. She recorded her first studio album, Superheroes, in September 2009, and released Dani's House single and theme, "Free", but the album never came out and it was later confirmed. that she gave up her music career. In 2012, Harmer competed in the fourth round of Let's Dance for Sport Relief alongside Tyger Drew-Honey, in which both were tied for first place.
