Danica Sue Patrick is a former professional American racer. She is the most successful woman in American freestyle racing history - her win at the Indy Japan 300 in 2008 was the only one woman's win in the IndyCar Series race. Born into a working-class family in Beloit, Wisconsin, Patrick began cycling at the age of 10 and achieved early success winning the Grand National Championship from the World Karting Association 3 times in the mid-1990s. permission from his parents in 1998, and moved to the UK to develop his career. Patrick competed in Formula Vauxhall and Formula Ford before returning to the United States in 2001 due to a lack of funding. In 2002, she competed in five Barber Dodge Pro Series races for Rahal Letterman Racing. Patrick then raced in the Toyota Atlantic Series for the next two years.
