Striker who joined Manchester United in 2008 and made his English national team debut in 2011. He received the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award in 2007-08 and helped Manchester United win a Premier League title in 2013. He would join Arsenal FC in 2014.

Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah Welbeck is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the England national team. Welbeck outclassed Manchester United's youth teams before making his senior debut in 2008 and scored in the process. He was with United when they won the 2008-09 League Cup and the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup before being loaned to Preston North End and Sunderland. Since the 2011–12 season, Welbeck has appeared regularly in Manchester United's first team. He was transferred to Arsenal in September 2014 for a sum of £ 16million. In August 2019, Welbeck joined Watford after being released by Arsenal at the end of last season. He made his England debut in March 2011 in a 1-1 friendly match with Ghana.
