Daunte Rachard Culpepper is a former American football midfielder who played for the National Football Federation for 11 seasons, primarily with the Minnesota Vikings. He played college football at the University of Central Florida and was included in the final roster of the 11 Vikings in the 1999 NFL Draft. Three Pro Bowl picks in his seven seasons with Vikings, Culpepper's most successful season came in 2004, in which he set a record of the season with the most yards created by an NFL midfielder. is 5.123. However, Culpepper suffered a serious knee injury. The following season ended his Viking career. Following his injury, he played little in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions.
