Daveigh Elizabeth Chase is an American actress, singer and model. She started her career with small roles on television before being cast as Samantha Darko in Richard Kelly's hit film Donnie Darko. She continued to voice Chihiro Ogino in the English dub of Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away and Lilo Pelekai in the Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch and its subsequent series, before appearing as Samara Morgan, villain for children in 2002. horror film The Ring. Between 2006 and 2011, she played a supporting role in the HBO series Big Love, starring Rhonda Volmer, a socially ill teenager who grew up in a polygamous family. In 2009, she took over the role of Samantha Darko in S. Darko, the sequel to Donnie Darko. She appeared in the 2016 horror film Jack Goes Home.
