David Antonio Cruz is an interdisciplinary artist working in painting, painting, video and performance. Cruz is famous for his psychological paintings which combine hieroglyphics, abstractions and collages. His work has been presented in several venues, including the El Museo del Barrio and the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, and has received a number of scholarships. Cruz lives and works in New York.
