David Farrier is a New Zealand journalist and actor. He has worked in news and documentaries, including shows on New Zealand television and co-directed the internationally distributed documentary Tickled. In 2018, he created the Netflix documentary series Dark Tourist, in which he visited obscure, strange or dangerous tourist destinations. He also played a role, most notably in the fantasy series Rhys Darby Short Poppies.
