Dejan Lovren is a Croatian professional soccer player who heads Russian Premier League club Zenit Saint Petersburg and plays for the Croatian national team at center-back. Lovren started his career at Dinamo Zagreb before joining Olympique Lyonnais in January 2010. He spent 3 and a half seasons with the Ligue 1 team and won the 2012 Coupe de France before signing with Southampton in 2013. After a season with Southampton, he joined Liverpool. 20 million pounds. He made 185 appearances for the club, winning the UEFA Champions League 2019 and Premier League titles in 2020, before joining Russian champion Zenit Saint Petersburg in July 2020. For 4 months, he became captain, replacing Artem Dzyuba. Having represented Croatia at various youth levels, he made his senior debut in 2009 and has since made more than 60 appearances for his country.
