Denise Lewis, is an English sports presenter and former track and field athlete specializing in coordination. She won a gold medal in coordination at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, twice the Commonwealth Olympics, was the 1998 European champion and has won silver at the World Championships in years. 1997 and 1999. She was the first European to win the Olympic triathlon, while also being a European, including Britain's Mary Peters, won the previous pentagram event: the Olympic Accord. Her personal record for triathlon is 6831 points, set at the Decastar meeting in 2000. This is the old British record and third on Britain's all-time list after Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Jessica. Ennis -ill. Lewis was named an Officer of the British Empire at the 2001 New Year Honors. Since retiring, she has held various television and media jobs and is currently a regular track and field specialist for the Radio station. BBC television, especially in London 2012 and Rio 2016
