This Christian rapper and music producer, born Derek Johnson, Jr. and known to his followers as Derek Minor and PRo, is best known for his hit albums Redemption (2010) and Dying to Live (2011), as well as his work with the hip hop groups R.M.G. and 116 Clique.

Derek Johnson, Jr., known by his stage name Derek Minor and formerly known as PRo, is an American Christian hip-hop artist, record producer, businessman, actor and screenwriter. He co-founded the hip-hop record Reflection Music Group with Doc Watson and signed with Reach Records in a joint venture between the two labels in 2011. In 2012, Johnson announced he was changing his stage name from Pro to Derek. . In 2014, he announced that when his two-album deal with Reach was concluded, he would no longer release releases through that label. He is a founding member of the hip-hop group R.M.G. on Reflection, and formerly a member of the hip-hop group Reach 116 Clique. Johnson has released six studio albums and six mixtapes as solo artists, as well as each studio album with the band R.M.G. and 116 Clicks. His second studio album, Redemption, ranks eighth on the Billboard Gospel chart and at number 31 on the Billboard Top Christian chart.
