Derk Cheetwood is an American singer and actor. He frequently appeared in the drama General Hospital as bodyguard Max Giambetti, who worked for Mafia boss Sonny Corinthos. He is the cousin of actor Tyler Christopher and the brother of actor Drew Cheetwood. He also appeared in the 1995 sitcom Brotherly Love in the episode "Witchcraft". In 2005, Cheetwood appeared in the 17th episode of the first season of the ABC TV series Desperate Housewives as a security guard. Derk is married to Cari Costner. Their first daughter was born in 2008, a second daughter in 2010, and their third child, a son, was born in 2015
