Deron Michael Williams is a retired American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini before being ranked third in NBA Draft 2005 by Utah Jazz. The three-time NBA star also played for the Turkish Basketball Federation's Beşiktaş in the 2011 NBA, and won a gold medal for the US national team during the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics
