Frederick Dierks Bentley is an American country singer and songwriter. In 2003, he signed with Capitol Nashville and released his first album of the same name. Both it and its sequel, 2005 Modern Day Drifter, are certified Platinum in the United States. His third album, Long Trip Alone of 2006, was certified gold. It was followed in mid-2008 by a series of big hits. Her fourth album, Feel That Fire was released in February 2009. A bluegrass album, Up on the Ridge, was released on June 8, 2010; sixth album, Home, followed in February 2012, as well as seventh album, Riser, in 2014. Bentley's eighth album, titled Black, was released in May 2016. Ninth studio album and his last, The Mountain, was released on June 8, 2018.
