During his 18-year NBA career, which spanned 1991 to 2009, he was an 8-time NBA All-Star and 4-time Defensive Player of the Year. He was a member of six different teams, including the Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, and Houston Rockets, among others.
Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo is a former Congolese-American professional basketball player. Mutombo has played 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association. In addition to basketball, he is also known for his humanitarian work. The center is 7ft 2in, 260lb, who began his career with Georgetown Hoyas, often considered one of the best defensive players and breakers of all time, winning four times the award for best defensive player in the NBA; He is also an eight-time All-Star.
