DJ, music producer, and rapper from the United States best known as one of the co-founders of Major Lazer. He is also half of Skrillex's Jack U duet, and he co-founded the LSD supergroup alongside Sia and Labrinth.

Thomas Wesley Pentz, known by his stage name Diplo, is an American DJ, musician and record producer based in Los Angeles. He is a co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer, a member of the LSD supergroup with Sia and Labrinth, a member of the electronic duo Jack Ü with producer and DJ Skrillex, and a member of Silk City with Mark Ronson. He founded and ran the Mad Decent record label, as well as co-founded the nonprofit Heaps Decent. Among other jobs, he worked as an English teacher in Japan and a teacher in Philadelphia. His 2013 EP, Revolution, debuted at number 68 on the US Billboard 200. The EP's title track was then featured in a Hyundai commercial and on the WWE 2K16 soundtrack. During his famous period, Diplo worked and dated with British musician M.I.A., an artist who allegedly exhibited him early in his career.
