Dominic Gerard Francis Eagleton West is an English actor, director and musician. He is known for his roles as Jimmy McNulty in The Wire and Noah Solloway in The Affair, which later earned him a Golden Globe nomination. He won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actor at the British Academy Television Awards 2012 for playing serial killer Fred West in Adult Suit and he he played Jean Valjean in the BBC miniseries Les Misérables in 2018. His films include Chicago, 300, Punisher: War Zone, John Carter, The Square, and Colette. West is currently playing the role of Dr. Chris Cox in the Sky One Brassic series.
