Dominick Rojelio Cruz is an American Professional Mixed Martial Artist who is currently under contract with the Ultimate Combat Championship. He is a two-time UFC bantamweight champion and also the latest World Extreme Cagefighting bantamweight winner. He has had notable victories over two former UFC champions: Demetrious Johnson and T.J. Dillashaw and former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber. As of March 9, 2021, he has been ranked 9th in the UFC bantamweight standings. Cruz is known for his unorthodox movement, solid wrestling base, quick strike, and tendency to attack from unique style perspectives unlike any other boxer on the UFC roster. He won the bantamweight title in March 2010 and the UFC bantamweight title in December of the following year. After defending the belt twice in 2011, Cruz was sidelined due to injury in 2012 and subsequently forfeited the title in 2014
