Douglas Robert Gilmour is a former professional Canadian ice hockey player. He has played 20 seasons in the National Hockey League for seven different teams. Gilmour was the player chosen in the seventh round, 134th overall, of St. John's. Louis Blues was in the NHL 1982 and had 1,414 points in 1,474 NHL games from 1983 to 2003. Twice the All-Star, he was a member of the Calgary Stanley Cup Championship in 1989 and won the Frank J. Prize. Selke Trophy is the best defensive forward in the 1992-1993 NHL period. Internationally, he has represented Canada three times during his career and is a member of the 1987 Canadian Cup Championship National Team. Gilmour was nicknamed "The Killer" by a Blues teammate due to of his resemblance to serial killer Charles Manson. He played three seasons of hockey for the Cornwall Royals, where he was a member of their Trophy Cup championship team in 1981
