Former quarterback and football coach who took over as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016. With a win in Super Bowl LII in 2018, he helped lead the Eagles to their first-ever Super Bowl title.
Douglas Irvin Pederson is an American football coach and former defender of the National Football Federation. Pederson spent most of his 13-season career replacing Brett Favre with Green Bay Packers, where he was part of the team that won the Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXI against New England's Patriots. He was also a Dan Marino replacement on the Miami Dolphins and was the one who started for the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns until his retirement in 2004. Pederson began his coaching career under Andy Reid, working as an assistant to the Eagles. From 2009 to 2012. After Reid became the Kansas City captain's head coach in 2013, Pederson followed him as the captain's attack coordinator. He returned to the Eagles as head coach in 2016, a position he has held for five seasons. His biggest success with Philadelphia came in the 2017 season when he led the franchise to its first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl LII, also on the Patriots.
