Drew McQueen Bledsoe is a former midfielder of American football who has played at the National Football Federation for 14 seasons, mainly for the New England Patriots team. He was New England's starting midfielder from 1993 to 2001 and was seen as the face of the Patriots brand for his nine seasons with the team. First selected as a whole in the NFL Draft in 1993, Bledsoe helped improve the fortunes of the Patriots, which had gone through hard times. During his tenure as a starting midfielder, the Patriots ended a seven-season playoff drought, qualified for four knockout rounds, and made an appearance at the Super Bowl at Super Bowl XXXI. He was also named for three Pro Bowls and became the youngest midfielder to play in the NFL All-Star game at the time with his appearance in 1995 .
