NFL quarterback who led the New Orleans Saints to Super Bowl XLIV triumph. Before joining the Saints in 2006, he spent the first five years of his NFL career with the San Diego Chargers. He set the NFL record for most career throwing yards in 2018 and then set the record for most career regular season passing touchdowns the following year.

Drew Christopher Brees is a former American football midfielder who played for the National Football Federation for 20 seasons. A member of the New Orleans Saints for most of his career, Brees has led the NFL in career full passes, career completion rate and regular season assists, as well as second place in assists and career passes. He also holds the record for playing the game in a row with a touch pass, breaking Johnny Unitas' record for 52 years. Brees plays college football at Purdue, where he sets the Big Ten Conference record for hits, attempts and ground. Despite his college success, questions about his size and arm strength kept him from being selected until the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. The Brees initially got stuck before having a breakout season in 2004, which earned him the Pro Bowl title and the return of Player of the Year.
