Michael Andrew "Duff" McKagan, sometimes referred to as Duff "Rose" McKagan, is an American multi-instrumental musician, singer, songwriter, and musician. He is known for his twelve years as bassist for the hard rock band Guns N 'Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Joined the group in 2016, after having joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. At the end of his first tenure with Guns N 'Roses, McKagan released a solo album, Believe in Me, and formed the short-lived supergroup Neurotic Outsiders. After leaving Guns N 'Roses in 1997, McKagan briefly reunited with punk band 10 Minute Warning before their Seattle hit, before forming hard rock band Loaded, in which he performed vocals, key and the rhythm of the guitar. From 2002 to 2008, he played bass in the Velvet Revolver supergroup with former Guns N 'Roses colleagues Slash and Matt Sorum.
