Dwain Anthony Chambers is an English sprinter. He has won international medals at world and European levels and is one of the fastest European sprinters in track and field history. His main event was 100 meters, with a best record of 9.97 seconds, ranking 5th on the list of all-time Britons. He is the European record holder in the 60-meter and 4 × 100-meter relay races with a record of 6.42 seconds and 37.73 seconds, respectively. Chambers set a young world record at 100 meters 10.06 in 1997 and became the youngest world medalist in history at the 1999 World Championship, winning a bronze medal. During his Olympic debut at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, he was Europe's best player in fourth place. He broke the 10-second barrier twice at the 2001 World Championship. In 2003, he got a two-year ban after testing positive for THG, a banned and stripped performance booster 100m European title and the record he achieved in 2002
