Known for his East Village (New York) Taiwanese restaurant, BaoHaus, this chef and restaurateur also published a bestselling 2013 memoir titled Fresh Off the Boat, which was adapted into an ABC TV series. He started hosting Snack Off, an MTV food competition, in 2014.

Edwyn Charles Huang is an American author, chef, restaurateur, culinary personality, producer and lawyer. He is co-owner of BaoHaus, a Gua Bao restaurant located in the East Village, Lower Manhattan. Huang previously hosted the world of Huang for Viceland. His autobiography, Fresh Off the Boat: A Memoir, was adapted into the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat, in which he narrated the first part.
