Edward Walter Furlong is an American actor. He won the Saturn and MTV Movie Awards for his groundbreaking performance as John Connor in Terminator 2: James Cameron's Judgment Day, followed by a small sequel, a gripping film. Short T2-3D: Battle Across Time co-directed by James Cameron and Cameron co-wrote with the main cast. In 1992, he was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award opposite Jeff Bridges in American Heart, and received a second Saturn Award nomination for his work in Pet Sematary Two. He won the Young Artist Award for his performance alongside Kathy Bates in A Home of Our Own and appeared in Before and After alongside Meryl Streep and Liam Neeson. Furlong was acclaimed for starring in the 1998 film Pecker, alongside Christina Ricci, and American History X, alongside Edward Norton. He played key roles in the comedy Detroit Rock City and the crime drama Animal Factory.
