Canadian gymnast who won gold medals in the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in 2012 and at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. At the 2016 Olympics, her fifth-place finish in the individual all-around was the greatest ever for a Canadian in that event.

Elsabeth Ann "Ellie" Black is a Canadian gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic athlete who represented her country at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She was the 2017 World Gymnast, helping her become an athlete. Black is also the almighty 2018 Commonwealth Games champion, the almighty two-time Pan Am Games champion and the six-time champion of Canada. At the 2016 Olympics, Black placed 5th in the entire delegation, the highest position ever recorded by a Canadian gymnast. In 2018, she was named one of the 15 greatest athletes in Nova Scotia history.
