Elvis Duran is an American radio personality. He hosts the daily Elvis Duran morning radio and New York Morning Show on the Z100 and broadcasts on Premiere Networks. Prior to joining the Z100, Duran's previous radio jobs included stint as an online character at WIOQ in Philadelphia. He served as program director of WIOQ from May 1989 until he was fired in February 1990. In October 1991 Duran became both the program director and the KBTS morning presenter at Austin, Texas. Before joining the Z100, Duran also worked evenings at Z-93 with his side friend "Hot Henrietta" in Atlanta, and at 104 in Houston. It started running for the Z100 by hosting an afternoon slot until April 1996, when Tom Poleman, the new program director, moved Duran to the morning slot, where he has been since.
